I very seldom have trouble writing blogs. Writing is something I enjoy, it’s how I am most easily able to communicate what my heart is speaking, but man oh man am I at a loss for words. Well really, I have so many words but I am not sure how to articulate all that the Lord has done and shown me and the things I’ve learned and the family I’ve inherited and the absolutely beautiful community that the Lord has been building forever before we even met each other. Everything’s new and everything is overwhelming in the best way. Like I’m in Nicaragua! I LIVE IN NICARAGUA FOR A MONTH AND A HALF. Hahah the Lord’s so crazy.
I’m just gonna let some thoughts roll and apologize in advance for my scatter-mindedness. Hopefully in the future I will have more specific things to share about in a way that can accurately portray my life right now, but also resonate with each one of you. For now, though, I am still in shock, taking it all in.
I’ve been trying to think of a way to explain all that I’m experiencing. Maybe the hardest task of my life to date lol. On the flight from ATL to FT Laudie. last night, I was jamming to the best worship music through my earbuds (I’m literally a pro playlist maker – btw). I turned on a song that I’ve known for a while, but last night it gave me the exact words to all I’m experiencing. It goes “I wanna know what it feels like when heaven touches earth and I’m caught in between”. That’s completely it. Heaven has come down to meet each one of us and I think we are all pretty much in the same boat. We are learning to navigate life in the Spirit while physically being in the world. It’s wonderful and surreal and He’s surreal and uh yeah that’s all I’ve got for now.
Oh, and He’s good. Like the best.

In just a few minutes we will be heading out from our hostel that we arrived at in Managua, Nicaragua this morning at 2:30 am (Nic. time). We have another travel day to take in the beautiful sights of creation all around & get us to our ministry spot for the first 3 weeks of the trip. Ometepe Island is the location. I honestly have no idea how long it is supposed to take to get there, I’ve heard so many variations so I’m just clueless at this point. I do know, though, that todays travel day will consist of a combination of land travel and a ferry, and that I’m here for it.
Please be in prayer for continued safety in traveling and also that the Lord would prepare us even more for the Kingdom task at hand.
I think that’s all for now, talk soon. :)
XOXO,
Meg :)
